  • Matrix server credentials (encrypted, never stored in plaintext)

Sensor Data (Optional, User-Controlled)

  • Location: Only when you enable it, transmitted directly to your Matrix server
  • Camera: Only when you enable it, images go directly to your AI via Matrix
  • Microphone: Only when you enable it, audio goes directly to your AI via Matrix

🔐 Important: E2E Encryption

All sensor data is end-to-end encrypted using Matrix's Olm/Megolm protocols. We cannot read your data. Only you and your AI have the keys.

3. How We Use Your Data

  • To provide and improve our services
  • To send you important updates about Krill (beta access, security alerts)
  • To process payments (Pro/Premium/Enterprise tiers)
  • We never sell your data to third parties

4. Data Storage

Your sensor data is stored on your own Matrix homeserver (or a managed one if you choose Pro/Premium). We use:

  • Free tier: Your own infrastructure (BYOG - Bring Your Own Gateway)
  • Pro/Premium: Isolated VMs in European data centers (GDPR compliant)
  • Enterprise: Your choice of region and infrastructure

5. Your Rights (GDPR)

Under GDPR, you have the right to:

  • Access your personal data
  • Rectify inaccurate data
  • Request deletion of your data
  • Export your data (data portability)
  • Object to processing
